and visual artist.
Eliza Brownlie is a Writer and Director whose work blends dreamy, elevated visuals with authentic and impactful storytelling, balancing style and substance in every project.

Whether directing commercials, music videos, or narrative films, Eliza draws on her cinematic sensibilities to infuse beauty, creativity, and emotional depth into every project.

She studied Communications at SFU and Directing at UCLA, and honed her craft in the advertising industry, designing treatments for some of the world’s most iconic brands and top directors.

Her work has screened internationally at festivals including LA Shorts International Film Festival, Venice Shorts, Williamsburg Independent Film Festival, and Female Voices Film Festival NYC, and has been featured by platforms such as LBBonline, Nylon, VICE, Vevo, and Refinery29.

Alongside her creative work, Eliza is committed to advancing gender equity in film and supporting underrepresented creators. She’s passionate about fostering more inclusive production processes and advocating for stronger representation on screen and behind the camera.
